C. Regulation of degree of assistance
Use this button to regulate the required degree of assistance.
No assistance: choose this option when you want to
•
cycle independently without assistance from the motor
(ill. 38).
•
ECO - economic assistance: this option costs you
minimum battery power and can be selected for longer
distances or when you require minimum assistance from
your motor (ill. 39).
NORMAL - normal assistance: select this option for
•
average motor assistance (ill. 40).
•
BOOST - boost assistance: select this option if you require
maximum assistance, when cycling uphill for example.
Another option is to choose the appropriate cycling
program for the terrain in which you are cycling, as
described under B (ill. 41).
