10. Operation
Always pull the mains plug before filling the tank.
Never fill the tank with flammable liquids or add such to the fog liquid. Only ever use suitable water-based
fog liquids (the CONRAD range features suitable fog liquids, see "Technical Data").
Never tilt the device. Fog liquids may leak out or enter the inside of the device and cause damage there or
injure the operator.
Make sure that no liquid enters the inside of the device when you are filling it with fog liquid. This may cause
damage to the device and potentially fatal electrical shock.
Never overfill the tank. When filling, pay attention to the fill level display at the rear of the fog machine.
a) Preparation
• Ensure that the mains plug is not plugged in.
• Unscrew the tank closure lid (2) from the device and fill fog liquid into the tank.
• Then screw on the tank closure lid (2) again.
• Align the fog exit (3) as desired.
• Plug the mains plug into a mains socket with a protective ground contact.
• Switch on the device with the mains switch at the rear of the fog machine (set switch to ON position).
• The mains switch will be lit when the device is on.
• The device heats up now. Heating up takes a few minutes.
b) Operation
• Once the device has reached its operating temperature, the red indicator LED at the fog button (6) of the remote
control (5) is lit. The device is now ready to fog.
• To activate the fog emission, push the fog button (6) on the remote control (5).
• The device emits fog as long as you keep the fog button (6) pressed.
Ensure that the tank never runs empty during fog operation. Pay attention to the fill level display at the rear
of the fog machine for this.
Should this happen nevertheless, turn the device off immediately using the mains switch (put the switch in
the position OFF) and let it cool down.
Refill the tank after cooling.
If no fog or haze emerges, the device is still warming up or reheating.
Slight fog lag after deactivation of the device is normal and does not suggest a defect.
If you no longer require the device, disconnect the mains plug and let the device cool down.
Then empty the tank if the device is not used for any extended period. This prevents leaking of fog liquid
during transport or storage.
