6.1.
APPLIANCE MALFUNCTIONS
PROBLEM
The appliance refuses to
turn on.
The outside of the appliance
becomes hot during use.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The power cable is not
connected to an earthed
socket.
The power cable is not
connected correctly to an
earthed socket.
There is no voltage on the
earthed socket.
The fuse is blown or
defective.
The control panel is dirty.
The heat from the appliance
radiates to the outside of the
appliance.

SOLUTIONS
Plug the power cable into
an earthed socket.
Plug the power cable into
another earthed socket.
In the event of a faulty
socket, please contact
an authorised service
technician.
Check the fuse and replace
it if necessary.
Clean the control panel
with a clean, soft, damp
cloth.
It is normal that the outside
of the appliance becomes
hot during use. Touch only
the control panel or handle
or wait until the appliance
has completely cooled
down.
