THE LID
Lifting the lid triggers a safety device that causes the paddle
(motor) to stop turning.
Caution: the safety device does not turn the compressor off, so
do not keep the lid open very long.
When the lid is replaced, the paddle does not start turning again
automatically: it must be started again using the switch (turn off
then turn on).
