activate the riveting device.
9. Release the trigger (2) and remove the air-
hydraulic riveter from the workpiece. The
rivet pin shoots into the transparent frame
cap (6).
NOTE: These procedures are explained in addition to the regular checks and maintenance that are
performed as part of the regular operation of the air-powered tool.
Service:
a) The tool service may only be carried out by qualified repair personnel.
b) When servicing a tool, use only identical spare parts. Use only authorized parts.
c) Use only the lubricants specified by the manufacturer.
Lubrication (pneumatic tool oil)
1.
Disconnect the tool from the air supply by
holding it so that the air inlet (1) is facing up.
2. Hold down the pusher (4) and add 4 to 5 drops
of the appropriate air tool oil to the air intake

WARNING! Make sure the air hydraulic riveter is
disconnected from the air supply hose before
1. Disconnect the tool from the air supply by
holding it so that the air inlet (1) is facing up.
2. Use the wrench (10) to unscrew and remove
the lock nut (8), which is located at the bottom
of the air hydraulic riveter.
3. Use pliers (not included) to remove the piston
assembly from the cylinder (7).
4. Clean the inside of the cylinder and lubricate
the cover gasket.
Changing the jaws of the air riveting machine
1.
Unscrew and remove the frame head (4) of
the air-hydraulic riveter with the open-end
wrench (11) supplied.
CAUTION
Use with caution as there is a spring behind the jaw
housing that can fly out.

10. When you are done with the air hydraulic
riveter, disconnect the tool from your air hose
and flush out the remaining air by pressing
and holding the trigger (2).
(1). Press and hold the trigger to allow the oil
to circulate in the engine.
3. Reconnect the air hydraulic riveter to the air
supply.

5. Hold the cylinder (7) upside down and fill in
hydraulic oil (not supplied).
HINT
The level should only reach the top of the frame.
6. Insert the piston assembly back into the
cylinder (7).
7. Use the wrench to screw the lock nut (8) firmly
back onto the cylinder (7).
2. Unscrew and remove the jaw housing with the
open-end wrench (11).
3. Remove the jaws from the jaw housing.
4. Replace the jaws, cheek casing, and nose
upside down as described above.
