5.2
Use and care of the tools
1. Use clamps or other practical ways to attach
and support the workpiece on a rod-shaped
platform. Holding the workpiece with the
hand or against the body is unstable and can
lead to loss of control.
2. Do not use force on the workpiece. Use the
appropriate tool for the application. The
correct tool will perform the job better and
safer at the speed for which the tool is
designed.
3. Do not use the tool if the trigger does not turn
the tool on or off. Any tool that cannot be
controlled with the trigger is dangerous and
must be repaired by an authorized repair
shop.

Additional Safety Instructions for Air Hydraulic Rivets
1. Use eye and hearing protection. When using
this riveting machine, wear approved safety
glasses, ear protection, and durable work
gloves. Other people in the work area must
also wear appropriate safety equipment.
2. Keep the work area clean. Confusing areas
lead to accidents.
3. Maintain the air pressure capacity.
4. Observe the conditions in the workspace.
Keep the work area well lit. Do not use
pneumatic tools in the presence of flammable
gases or liquids.
5. Keep children away. Children must never be
allowed into the work area. Do not let them
handle machines, extension cords or air
hoses.
