Barbecue grill
Dear Customer,
Before using the appliance, read the following instructions
carefully and keep this manual for future reference. The
appliance must only be used by persons familiar with these
instructions.
Important safety instructions
∙ This appliance is designed for
outdoor use only; it must not be
operated within enclosed spaces.
∙ The barbecue grill must only be
connected to an earthed socket
installed in accordance with the
regulations. It must be operated with
an additional earth-leakage circuit-
breaker with a rated tripping current
not exceeding
30 mA.
∙ Make sure that the supply voltage
corresponds with the voltage marked
on the rating label.
∙ The power cord should be regularly
examined for any signs of damage.
In the event of such damage being
found, the appliance must no longer
be used.
∙ In order to comply with safety
regulations and to avoid hazards,
repairs of electrical appliances must
be carried out by qualified personnel,
including the replacement of the
power cord. If repairs are needed,
please send the appliance to one of
our customer service departments
(see appendix).
∙ The appliance is not intended to be
operated by means of an external
timer or separate remote-control
system.
∙ Caution: Do not, under any
circumstances, use charcoal or any
other solid or liquid fuel to operate the
grill.
∙ Do not use the barbecue grill with any
thermostat plug other than the one
provided.
∙
Caution: This symbol indicates
that the grill surface and accessible
housing surfaces heat up during
operation. Do not touch any part of the
appliance except the handles during
and after operation.
∙ Before cleaning, disconnect the
appliance from the mains first, then
remove the thermostat plug and let the
grill cool down.
∙ To avoid the risk of electric shock, the
power cord with thermostat plug must
not be immersed in liquid or even
allowed to come into contact with it.
∙ Clean the grill plate with hot soapy
water. Ensure that the grill plate
with the thermostat connection is
absolutely dry before the grill is used
again.
∙ For detailed information on cleaning
the appliance, please refer to the
section Cleaning and care.
∙ This appliance is intended for
domestic or similar applications, such
as
- in staff kitchens in shops, offices and
other similar working environments,
- in agricultural working environments,
- by customers in hotels, motels etc.
and similar accommodation,
- in bed-and breakfast type
environments.
