The motor must be connected to the electrical grid, to the drive devices, and to any
outside units by trained personnel only.
DO NOT work on the motor when it is powered. Before doing any work, disconnect
the system from the electrical grid in such a way that it stays disconnected until all
work is finished.
Attachments "F" – "M" – "U" provide instructions for correct connection Softbox 437 and Qbox 457
systems
For correct operation, Softbox 437, Qbox 457 and Plì 353/4 systems have to be powered with a power
unit or an RF receiver that supplies 24 VDC.
Note: two or more Softbox 437, Qbox 457 and/or Plì 353/4 systems cannot be connected to the same
button, power box or R. F. receiver.
The factory setting for Softbox 437, Qbox 457 and Plì 353/4 systems are such that a certain travel
value is in any case set.
During the manual limit switch setting procedure, the motor rotation speed is
An incorrect interpretation of the meaning of limits switches can cause damage to the system.
Having identified the limit switch to be adjusted (see attachments "E" – "L" – "S"), turn the screw in
these directions:
-
"

+
"
" = to increase the travel
1. Run the system down and at the same time turn the DOWN limit switch screw in the "
until the system stops. If the system goes beyond the DOWN limit switch position required without
stopping, proceed as follows:
a) stop the system
b) run the system up, and without touching the DOWN limit switch, take the blind up to half way
c) run the system down and at the same time turn the DOWN limit screw in the "
the system stops. If necessary repeat the operation from point a
2. Once the DOWN limit is reached, the system stops. At this point, if the position needs to be corrected,
then:
• to shorten the travel of the blind:
d) run the system up so the blind is raised by a few cms
e) turn the down limit screw a few turns in the "
f) run the system DOWN and see where the system stops. If necessary repeat the operation from
point d
• to lengthen the travel:
g) with the system stopped at the DOWN limit switch and not supplied with. power, turn the DOWN
limit screw a few turns in the "
h) run the system DOWN and see where the system stops. If necessary repeat the operation from
point g

Pay attention to the position that the system reaches.
Any impact or sticking may permanently damage the system.
Periodically check that the limit stops are in the correct position.
