BEFORE THE FIRST USE
•
Packaging material is not a child's toy. Children must not play with the plastic bags.
•
Remove all parts from the packaging and remove all packaging materials. Also remove any transport safety de-
vices. In addition, remove any stickers and protective fi lm from the device.
•
Check the scope of delivery for completeness and damage and clean the device.
COMMISSIONING
1.
Before using the appliance for the fi rst time, remove all packaging and stickers.
2.
Open the lid by pressing the lid release button.
3.
Remove the lid from the appliance.
4.
Clean the lid, the frying basket and its handle in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
5.
Attach the lid back to the appliance.
6.
Clean the interior and exterior of the main body and lid with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
Introducing the Oil
•
Do not switch on the appliance before you have fi lled it with oil.
•
Open the lid by pressing the lid release button.
•
Raise the frying basket by lifting the basket handle to the horizontal position and then remove the frying basket.
•
Pour oil into the fryer bowl up to the MAX mark indicated on the inside of the bowl. Do not fi ll above the MAX mark
or below the MIN mark.
•
Always use oil which can withstand high temperature.
•
Do not mix diff erent types of oil and never add fresh oil to used oil.
•
e deep frying food in butter, margarine, olive oil or animal fat is not recommended because of lower smoking
temperatures.
•
Close the lid.
