15. Intended use
The device may only be used for its intended purpose. Any other use beyond that is not following its
intended purpose. The user/operator and not the manufacturer is liable for any damage or injury of any
kind caused by such use.
The gasoline lawn mower is suitable for private use in the home and hobby garden.
Lawnmowers for the private home and hobby garden are considered to be those whose annual use does
not typically exceed 50 hours and mainly used to maintain grass or lawn areas, but not in public
facilities, parks, sports facilities, and not in agriculture and forestry.
Please note that our devices are not designed for commercial, craft, or industrial use. We do not assume
any warranty if the device is used in commercial, trade, industrial operations, or similar activities.
Compliance with the instructions for use enclosed by the manufacturer is a prerequisite for the lawn
mower's proper use. The instructions for use also contain the operating, maintenance, and servicing
conditions.
Caution! Due to physical danger to the user, the lawnmower may not be used for the following work:
trimming bushes, hedges and shrubs, cutting and shredding tendrils or lawn on roof plantings or in
balcony boxes and cleaning (vacuuming) sidewalks and as a shredder for shredding tree and hedge
cuttings. Furthermore, the lawnmower must not be used as an engine hoe for leveling ground
elevations, such as molehills.
For safety reasons, the lawnmower may not be used as a power unit for other working tools and
toolsets of any kind.
