The cleaning process

Plug the mains plug into a mains wall socket.
Make sure that the lid 1 is closed.
♦
The display 4 shows 180 (seconds). The display 4 switches off
♦
automatically if the cleaning process is not started. Then press the SET button
6 to reactivate the display. 180 (seconds) appears again.
Press the SET button 6 repeatedly until the desired cleaning time (090,
♦
180, 280, 380 or 480 seconds) appears in the display 4.
NOTE
►
090 seconds: Recommended for light soiling and items such as spectacles.
►
180 seconds: Standard time for normal soiling.
►
280 seconds: Recommended for the first cleaning with the ultrasonic
cleaner.
►
380 seconds: Recommended for the initial cleaning when several items are
being cleaned.
►
480 seconds: Recommended for heavy soiling.

After you have set a suitable time, start the cleaning process by pressing the
ON/OFF button 5.

During the cleaning procedure, you will hear a chirping sound.
■
The operating LED 3 lights up during the cleaning process.
■
The time counts down to zero on the display 4 and then the appliance
switches off automatically.

To check the cleaning result during the cleaning process, the cleaning
process can be stopped by pressing the ON/OFF button 5.
Press the ON/OFF button 5 to restart the process.

After cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the mains and open the lid 1.
♦
If the plastic basket 9 is currently inside, flip up the handle/watch holder 8
and carefully remove the plastic basket 9 from the stainless steel bath 7.
♦
Rinse the cleaned parts thoroughly with clean water before drying them with
a soft and dry cloth.
NOTE
►
Most dirt particles detach or loosen after the first cleaning. If there is still
dirt residue after the cleaning, take a soft cloth and remove it by wiping
gently. If you have still not removed all of the dirt particles, repeat the
cleaning process once the appliance has cooled down.
