FIRST TIME OPERATION
The VOSS.sonic 5500 can be operated either with the supplied USB cable and a suitable USB
adapter (5V DC, 500mAh) or with 3 x 1.5 V AA batteries.

Only use one of the two power sources mentioned.

Continuous operation is only possible when using the USB cable with a suitable USB adapter.

OPERATION WITH USB CABLE

Risk of tripping. Place the unit and the cable so
that it does not pose a tripping hazard to persons
and animals. Do not place the unit and the cable
in walkways.

Use only properly installed sockets for the power
supply.
1. Set the desired settings on the unit.
2. Plug the supplied USB cable into the connection (6) on the
unit (Fig. 1).
3. Connect the USB cable to a USB adapter (5V DC, 500mAh) and
plug the adapter into a nearby socket.
The status LED (5) lights up to indicate that the unit is in operation.

To test the set functions, you can press the test button (4).
4. Slide the unit cover onto the unit (Fig. 2).
