The device transmits, depending on the setting, signals that are audible to humans and
signals that are not or barely audible. This device works in the sonic and ultrasonic range.
According to the current state of knowledge, ultrasonic sounds do not cause any damage
if the maximum level is below 140 dB (sound pressure) and the average level, related to 8
h/day, is below linear 110 dB. Our devices emit ultrasonic frequencies that can generate
sound pressure between 80 and 120 dB at close range.

The devices must be set up in such a way that you comply with the laws applicable in your
country for ultrasonic emission in public spaces. This can be obtained from the local
authorities responsible for your area.

INTENDED USE
The VOSS.sonic 5500 is used to repel pests and unwanted animals indoors. Any other use is not
permitted. Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity (e.g. sanitary rooms, damp basements)
or in living rooms and rooms in which persons are present. The unit is not suitable for outdoor
use. The unit is intended for private use only and not for commercial use.
