Electrical connection
– For connection values, see technical
data and type plate.
– The electrical connections must be
done by an electrician according to IEC
60364-1.
– The voltage indicated on the type plate
must correspond to the voltage of the
electrical source.
Note
When connecting the voltage supply, the al-
ready connected de-interference capacita-
tor must not be removed.
Preparing the installation place
For proper installation of the appliance,
please take care of the following points
– There must be a horizontal, even sur-
face with minimum dimensions of 700
mm x 900 mm (700 x 750 mm for a de-
vice without a column).
– Power supply according to measure-
ment chart (A), see Appendix.
Drill 4 fastening holes d=12 mm, 75 mm
depth according to measurements
chart.
Install the device and align it
Open device door.
Remove the waste and dirt containers
from the device and place them on the
side.
Danger
Risk of injury due to machine toppling over.
The machine must be installed and fas-
tened with screws on a firm, solid base.

Fasten the appliance using the enclosed
fasteners:
Insert the dowels into the drilled holes.
Place the appliance at the proposed
site. Guide the cable for the electrical
connection through the opening in the
base of the appliance.
Insert the discs as shown in the draw-
ing.
Fix in the screws and tighten them.

Install top part of column (see attached
installation instructions 0.082-374).
Install suction hoses
Remove the filter casing.
Route the suction hoses from the out-
side through the openings in the back
wall.
Insert the ends of the suction hoses into
the stubs of the filter housings. The at-
tachment flanges must click into the de-
pressions in the stub.
Insert the filter housing.
Insert the suction nozzles into the suc-
tion nozzle holders.
Only in devices with column: Hook the
snap hooks of the suction hoses into the
eyelets of the sheathed cables.
Start up
Establish the electrical connection.
Only with 1.247-xxx and 1.263-xxx:
Check the rotation direction of the suc-
toin turbines, replace phase if neces-
sary.
Reinsert waste container.
Insert the waste container into the de-
vice door.
Check functioning of the appliance.
Set the vacuum cleaning time according
to customer requirements.
Connect the cable that you have al-
ready guided through the base plate
opening to the main appliance switch
according to the enclosed circuit plan.

EU Directives, both in its basic design and
construction as well as in the version put
into circulation by us. This declaration shall
cease to be valid if the machine is modified
without our prior approval.
