WARNING
It is dangerous to open the door mid-cycle, as hot steam
may scald you.
Auto Open
At the end of a program the door will open automatically to achieve better drying effect and
reduce energy use during the drying phase. Rapid and self-cleaning programs don't have
this function.
NOTE
The dishwasher door must not be blocked when set to open
automatically. This can disrupt door lock functionality.
Activ'Door is a technology that opens doors at the end of a cycle. This means that residual
steam in the tank can escape, rather than being deposited on the dishes. This system
optimizes drying while limiting energy consumption. At the same time, this will reduce the
amount of residue on your dishes.
There's a button to deactivate the Activ'Door. Automatic door opening can operate on all
programs except the short programs (i.e. the quick program and the soaking program, if
present on your appliance). The automatic opening function can be activated or deactivated
by pressing the door opener button.
