1. Secure the workpiece to prevent movement and mark the line of cut (cutting mark).
2. Set the cutting depth.
3. Position the product with the adaptive cutting line indicator aligned with the marked line.
4. Switch the product on.

The plunge movement of the product is possible only with the on/off switch unlocked.
5. Plunge the plunge unit all the way into the workpiece (1).
6. Guide the tool through the workpiece at a suitable speed.
7. With the saw blade running, swivel the plunge unit back to the basic position (2).
In this way you prevent the saw blade from binding in the workpiece.
8. Switch the product off as soon as the plunge unit is in the basic position.
Making a plunge cut
1. Set the cutting depth.
2. Position the product on the workpiece.
3. Switch the product on.

5. Guide the tool through the workpiece at a suitable speed.
6. Pivot the product out of the workpiece.
7. Switch the product off as soon as the plunge unit is in the basic position.
Making bevel cuts (angled cut)
The product has an adaptive cutting line indicator that adapts automatically to the set cutting
angle. The adaptive cutting line indicator applies only to cuts made without guide rail. When
cuts are made with the guide rail, the design of the product is such that the cutting line is
independent of the set cutting angle.
1. Set the cutting angle for bevel cuts.
2. Position the product with the adaptive cutting line indicator aligned with the marked line.
3. Switch the product on.
4. Plunge the plunge unit into the workpiece.
5. Advance the product along the guide rail to make the cut through the workpiece.
Saw cuts with guide rail
1. Secure the guide rail with 2 screw clamps.
2. Place the base plate with the groove on the guide rib of the guide rail.
3. Set the cutting angle for bevel cuts.
4. Set the cutting depth.
5. Switch the product on.
6. Plunge the plunge unit into the workpiece.
7. Advance the product along the guide rail to make the cut through the workpiece.
