Active carbon filter for recirculation
Activated carbon filters trap odors when you use the hood in recirculation mode. During
normal operation (1 to 2 hours per day), activated carbon filters should be replaced about
twice a year. Matching activated carbon filters are available at cendo.store. Use only original
filters. The spent filters contain no hazardous substances and can be disposed of with
household waste.
Installing and removing the activated carbon filter
2 activated carbon filters are required for proper operation. These are attached inside the
exhaust hood on both sides of the blower in front of the inlet openings. Proceed as follows to
install the activated carbon filters:
1. Remove the metal grease filter;
2. Place the activated carbon filter on both sides of the blower in front of the inlet
openings;
3. The center of the filters has an alignment and a matching insert;
4. When the filter is seated correctly, it can be secured with a small twisting motion;
5. You can now reinstall the grease filters.
