• Dispose of the old battery in accordance with local and national regulations and
hand it in at a battery collection point.
• Even completely discharged batteries contain residual energy. To avoid a short
circuit, insulate the poles, for example with insulating tape!

• Dispose of the hand blender correctly at the local collection point (first ask wheth-
er the appliance can be repaired).
• Dispose of the battery according to the instructions "Disposal of the battery" (page 30).
Service, repairs and spare parts
Your appliance complies with the relevant safety regulations for household electrical
appliances. In case of repair, contact the bamix
defects and faults will be rectified professionally and quickly.
All repairs must be performed by qualified technicians. Considerable danger may
arise for the user through repairs carried out by unauthorised persons. If the appli-
ance is used for purposes other than those for which it is intended, or if it is incorrect-
ly operated or repaired by unqualified persons, the manufacturer shall not be liable
for damages. In such a case, the warranty shall become void.
Within the warranty period, please always enclose the receipt. Only use genuine
spare parts. The use of incorrect accessories can lead to injuries or damage to the
