Attention!
Using soiled compressed air can cause malfunctions.
→ Use clean compressed air. For example with SATA filter 544.
• Check that all screws are screwed tight.
• Screw the fluid tip tight.
• Rinse material passages with a suitable cleaning solution (see chapter
11).
• Align the air cap.
• Connect the control air (min. 3 bar).
• Connect the spraying air.
• Connect the material supply.
Notice!
Test air caps are available from SATA to help adjust the spraying pa-
rameters (see chapter 13).
9.2. Normal operation
The automatic gun has an internal control. The control air triggers the
control pulse and opens the spraying air valve of the automatic gun, thus
ensuring that pressurised spraying air is always present at the automatic
gun.
Before using the automatic gun, heed/check the following points to war-
rant safe working with the gun:
• Automatic gun is safely fitted.
• Minimum compressed air flow and pressure is warranted.
• Clean compressed air is being used.
Adjust spray gun inlet pressure
Notice!
If the gun input pressure does not reach the necessary level, increase
the pressure in the compressed air circuit.
• Adjust the spraying air to the necessary input pressure.
