14. Registering the detector on the signolux receivers
Function
In case of an alarm, the signolux combined detector transmits a wire-
less signal to all paired signolux-receivers within range.
Registering the combined detector with the receivers
The »signolux combined detector« has to be registered with every
signolux-receiver in your system, which is later supposed to react to it.
Registering the detector with a receiver allows the choice of indicati-
on on the according receiver. To register the detector with the relevant
receiver, press and hold that receiver's function key. The receiver's
event symbols light up in sequence. Release the function key as soon
as the required alarm symbol »
« or »
« is lit up.
The selected symbol lights up for 7 seconds. While the symbol is
lit, press the test button on the module inside the detector. The ex-
terior test button on the outside of the combined detector can also
be used, but please note that this will also trigger the detector's
acoustic alarm.
Wait for approx. 20 seconds and the test the setup by pressing the test
button once again. Up to 8 transmitters can be assigned to a single
alarm symbol.
