1. General information
This manual contains important information concerning the proper ins-
tallation and use of your combined carbon monoxide (CO) and tempera-
ture detector. Please read this manual thoroughly before mounting and
activating the combined detector and keep it safe for future reference.
The signolux combined detector gives early warning of deadly CO as well
as unusually high temperatures. If the room temperature exceeds 60° C,
an alarm is also triggered. A triggered alarm is reproduced on the signo-
lux receiver devices,
coupled Interlink detectors in the vicinity will also
sound the alarm.
The combined detector is suitable for rooms that cannot be monitored
with conventional smoke detectors.
The electronics of the combined detectors are constructed in such a
power-saving way that a typical operational time of 10 years may be
reached with the inbuilt battery.
Humantechnik does not accept any liability for expenditures of time,
material and money which may result from alarming a manned stati-
on, e.g. security firm or fire brigade.
