Instructions for use
EN
Note the following safety instructions before wearing the helmet:
1.
To be used as a riding helmet only!
2.
Do not reuse the helmet after a hard blow, shock or impact!
3.
Always make sure the strap is sufficiently fastened!
4.
Please observe the indicated head dimensions!
5.
Please do not change the helmet or the accessories!
6.
Use only gentle soap, water and a soft cloth for cleaning!
7.
Do not use any chemical cleaning agents or solvents!
8.
Extreme temperatures can cause invisible damage to the helmet!
9.
The helmet should be adjusted to the user's head as well as possible.
10. Even the safest helmet cannot provide absolute protection from injury but it helps to minimize the risk of injury! Whilst
helmets reduce the likelihood of injury, in certain circumstances injury cannot be prevented. In particular, helmets are not
designed to protect the head in the event of crushing by a horse.
11. After having been used for five years, undamaged helmets should be exchanged as a precautionary measure!
12. For use with persons at least one year old who can comfortably support helmet weight. When used for children
consult your doctor for a safety evaluation!
Fit and adjustment
In order to provide sufficient protection from impact, the helmet should be adjusted properly. It should not
be worn if it cannot be adjusted perfectly to the head dimensions. Turn the adjustable ring at the back of
the helmet for perfect adjustment of the head ring. The helmet has been adjusted properly if it holds on your
head without the chin straps having been fastened and without slipping off or without an unpleasant pressure
feeling on your head.
Once the head ring has been adjusted, the chin straps should be fastened. The helmet should fit tightly but it
should not feel constricting or unpleasant. The strap length can be adjusted according to fig. 1. The strap length
has been adjusted correctly if you feel slight pressure on your chin when the helmet is closed. In order to open
the clamp (fig. 2.), press the ends of the interior part of the clamp together and slide it out of the closed part.
The helmet fits properly if the gap between the eyebrows and helmet is approximately 1'' (see fig. 3+4).
The fastened helmet cannot be turned, lifted, or pushed back or forward.
WARNING!
The helmet was manufactured according to strict quality criteria. Always make sure that the helmet fits
properly and has been adjusted correctly before using it! Helmets can move more on your head when riding.
In order to ensure that the helmet remains in position during riding, adjust the retention system to ensure that
the movement of the helmet on the head is minimal, both for front-to-rear and side-to-side movement.
The helmet has been designed to ensure that in the event of a blow, part of the force is dampened by the
partial destruction of the helmet shell or the protective padding. This damage may not be visible and the
helmet should therefore be discarded and replaced.
The protection offered by the helmet depends on the circumstances of the accident, and wearing a protective helmet cannot
always prevent fatality or prolonged disability.
Guarantee conditions:
The prescribed legal guarantee rights in each country apply. In Germany, the guarantee period is 24 months for material and
manufacturing defects. The guarantee does NOT cover normal wear and tear or changes to the product caused by the customer
or damage resulting from accidents, incorrect use or incorrect storage. To check the validity of guarantee claims, the original
purchase receipt complete with dealer's stamp and date of purchase will be required. Guarantee claims must be processed
exclusively by the sales outlet from which the helmet was purchased. We reserve the right of rectification.
