For adjustments and simple installation work, use the accompanying hexagonal wrench located in the upper
section of the print unit.
No other tools are required for the work described here.

Load Label Roll in Tear-off Mode

NOTICE!
As for the electrostatic unloading the thin coating of the thermal printhead or other electronic parts can be
damaged, the label material should be antistatic.
The use of wrong materials can lead to printer malfunctions and the guarantee can expire.

Load Label Material into Print Unit

Open the printer cover.
Turn the adjusting ring (B) counterclockwise, so that
the arrow points to the symbol
the margin stop (A).
Remove the margin stop (A) from the roller retainer
(D).
Load the label roll (C) onto the roll retainer (D). The

printing side of the labels must be visible from above.
Re-mount the margin stop (A) onto the roll retainer (D).

Push the margin stop (A) to the roll (C) until the roll
touches the chassis and the margin stop (A) and a

clear resistance is encountered.
Turn the adjusting ring (B) clockwise so that the arrow

points to the symbol
(A) onto the roll retainer.
Unwind longer label strips:

Dispenser / Rewind mode: approx. 60 cm
Tear-off mode: approx. 40 cm
Turn the lever (A) counterclockwise to lift up the printhead.
Adjust the label guiding (C) with the knurled knob (D) in such a way
that the material can pass between the label guiding and the
chassis.
Guide the label strip over the internal rewinder to the print unit.
Guide the label strip through the label photocell (B) in such a way
that it exits the print unit between the printhead and the printer roller.
Position the label guiding (C) in such a way that the material is
guided without clamping.
