Original version of the guide
The receiver must be installed and adjusted by a professional motorisation and
home automation installer, in compliance with the regulations of the country in
which it is to be used.
To meet the requirements of standards EN 13241-1, EN 12445 and EN 12453, the installer
must follow the instructions in this manual throughout the installation procedure.
Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury, e.g. crushing by
the garage door or gate.
To operate a gate or garage door, this receiver must be used in strict compliance with standard
EN 12453 relating to "Safety in use of power operated doors" and in particular with paragraph
5.5 relating to the "minimum safety level for people".
Consequently, when using an io control system or a TaHoma or Connexoon unit, compliance
with the following is essential:
-Installation of the drive must comply with paragraph 5.5.1 of standard
EN 12453, in particular by implementing a presence detection system and photo-electric
cells.
-The drive must be set to automatic mode.
1.1 Caution - Important safety instructions
For reasons of personal safety, it is important to follow all the instructions, as incorrect
installation can lead to serious injury. Retain these instructions.
The installer must train all users to ensure the drive is used in complete safety.
Do not spray water onto the product.
Do not install this product in an explosive environment.
Check that the temperature range marked on the product is suited to the installation location.
Wear safety goggles when drilling, do not wear jewellery and use the appropriate tools when
installing the product.
