2. Then remove the plug from the power point and remove the thermostat from the party pan.
Caution: The temperature sensor of the thermostat will be very hot after the party pan has
been used. Therefore, first allow the party pan to cool down before removing the
thermostat!
3. After allowing the pan to cool down, cover the thermostat
socket to prevent water entering it during cleaning. Clean the
party pan with a soft sponge.
Then wipe the device with a dry and soft cloth.
Precautionary measures when using the party pan
The party pan has a non-stick coating. Therefore take note of the following:
Do not use sharp metal objects (if you wish to cut meat that has been cooked in
the pan, first remove it from the pan and cut it on a board/plate).
Do not use a knife to cut meat in the pan.
Do not put the thermostat on the party pan, it should never come in contact with
the pan.
Do not use detergent, or a nylon or metal brush. They will damage the non-stick
coating of the pan.
The pan must be cleaned with a wet cloth after use. Fat remaining on the
surface can cause a fire.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasives. Do not use any sharp or
pointed objects. Do not use petrol or solvents! Clean with a damp cloth and
detergent if necessary. Do not use abrasive materials.

Important information concerning precautions to take
The following precautionary measures must be taken to prevent electricity failure, fire, or the pan
operating incorrectly.
If the lead overheats
Stop using the device and return it to the dealer/ supplier.
Correct 220V-240V power supply
The mains voltage must be 220V-240V, 1.4 kW (art. 239506 & 239483) or 1.6 kW
(art.239605) from a power point to which no other high-power device is connected.
Handle the lead carefully
The lead should not be twisted.
Do not remove the plug from the power point by pulling the lead.
Do not submerge the party pan in water
Do not clean the party pan in water.
After cleaning the pan, allow it to dry before using it again.
