Low loss header
Installation instructions

Description of functions

A low loss header is designed to separate the volume flow between
the heat source and the consumer. The volume flow in the heat pump
circuit remains constant if, for example, the volume flow in the heating
circuit is reduced by thermostatic valves.
A low loss header is required in two-circuit systems without buffer
cylinder to prevent pumps operating against each other, which would
create irritating noise; it also helps to achieve a sensible hydraulic system
balance. The low loss headers are insulated, contain an air separator, a
dirt trap, an automatic float air vent valve and a drain valve. A sensor
well is provided for the heat pump return temperature sensor.
