container and the base with
liquids and do not immerse
them; do not clean under
running water.
∙ The kettle may only
be operated with the
base provided with the
appliance.

container from the base
(or replace it) while the
appliance is switched on.
Danger of burns and
scalding
∙ The exterior surfaces
become hot during use and
will remain so for some
time afterwards.
∙ Only operate the kettle
under supervision and with
pure water.It is essential to
observe the minimum
(0.2 l) and maximum (0.5 l)
markings for the filling
quantity. Overfilling may
cause boiling water to
splash out.
∙ Also beware of the danger
of scalding from hot steam
being emitted. Therefore,
do not touch any parts of
the appliance except the
handle during use.
∙ During the boiling process
and when pouring out hot
water, the lid must be kept
closed at all times.
∙ Descale the appliance
regularly. With heavily
calcified appliances, there
is a risk of water splashing
out of the spout.
