MAIN MENU – SETUP
setup menu:
Audio language: (can only be selected in DTV mode): Select the audio language. The availability of
this function depends on the current channel.
Subtitle language: (can only be selected in DTV mode): Select the audio language. The availability of
this function depends on the current channel.
Hearing Impaired: Switch this option to "on" or "Off" to activate or deactivate hearing impaired assistance.
Aspect Ratio: Choose from Automatic,4:3,16:9,Zoom1,Zoom2,Auto.
Blue Screen: Enable this option if you want to display a blue image when there is no signal. Turn off the
option "On" or"Off".
First Time Installation: Select the setting to go to the first installation menu.
Energy Mode: Choose between the"home mode"(for the buyer) and the"Store Mode"(for the dealer).
Factory settings: Select factory settings to return the TV set to the condition at the time of delivery.
Use the t button to cancel the input.
Software update (USB):
1. Download the new software to a USB device. Then connect the USB device to the TV.
2. Press the "Menu" button and go to "Setup". Now you can navigate to software update with the arrow
keys. Use the u button to confirm the input.
3. The arrow button t confirms the update. The arrow button u cancels the update.
4. When the update is complete, the TV set will switch to standby mode.
Version: Displays the model, panel type and software version.
Channel list USB import / USB export:
1. The individual channel list can be saved to a USB flash drive. Connect the USB flash drive to the
USB port of the TV.
NOTE: The USB flash drive must be formatted for FAT32.
2. Use the p/q buttons to select "Channel list USB export". After a few minutes the channel list is
saved on the USB flash drive. Now you can remove the storage medium from the TV.
3. To import the channel list use the p/q buttons to select "Channel list USB import" and the chan-
nel list will be imported to the TV. The TV set will switch off automatically as soon as the data import
is completed.
NOTE: Data transfer within the Carbest model series 49880/49882/49884 is unproblematic. For TV
sets from other manufacturers it depends on whether this function is likewise supported.
Press the "MENU" button on your remote
control to return to the menu view.
Press the p/q/t/u buttons to navigate
through the menu and go to the menu item
"setup".
Confirm by pressing "OK".
Language: Set the menu language for the
screen display.
TT Language: Here you can select the font for
the video text.
