is damaged, it must not be
used until it has been repaired.
Additional safety require-
ments for the charger
1. Please check the data speci-
fied on the nameplate of the
battery charger. Connect the
battery charger to a power
supply which responds with
the voltage specified on the
nameplate. Never connect
the charger to a power sup-
ply with different voltage.
2. Protect the battery charger
and its cable from damage and
sharp edges. Have damaged
cables repaired by a qualified
electrician immediately.
3. Only use the battery charg-
er in dry environments and
at an ambient temperature
between 10 °C and 40 °C.
4. Do not leave the battery
charger in locations where
the temperature may rise to
50 °C. Especially do not leave
the battery chargers in cars
parked in the sun.
5. Do not inspect the charger
plug with conductive objects.

6. This charger is not intend-
ed for purposes other than
charging rechargeable bat-
teries. Any other use can
result in fire, electric shock or
death from electric shock.
7. To prevent damaging the
plug or the cable as best pos-
sible, disconnect from power
power by pulling on the plug,
not the cable.
8. Note the position of the cable
to prevent stepping on, trip-
ping over, or other damage
or stress whilst charging the
battery.
9. The charger is ventilated by
slots at the top and bottom
of the housing. Do not place
objects onto the charger and
do not place the charger in a
way the ventilation slots are
blocked, causing the equip-
ment to overheat. Keep the
charger clean.
10. Do not disassemble the
charger. Take it to an author-
ised service centre if repairs
are necessary. Incorrect as-
sembly can result in electric
shock, death from electric
shock, or burns.
