9. Operation
a) Starting DCF Reception Attempt Manually
• Then keep the button „DOWN/DCF" pushed for more than 2 seconds to start a new DCF
reception attempt. When the radio tower symbol for DCF reception flashes, release
the button again.
• The DCF signal search will take several minutes. Do not move the weather station
during this time and do not press any button.
Do not put the weather station next to electronic devices, metal parts, cables,
etc. Bad reception can also be expected, e.g. in case of metallised insulation
glass windows, reinforced concrete construction, coated special wallpaper or
basement rooms.
b) Manually Initiating Search for Outdoor Sensors
• Keep the button"CHANNEL" pushed for more than 2 seconds until the lower left of the
display shows the flashing reception icon for the radio signal of the outdoor sensors.
• The sensor search takes about 3 minutes. Do not move the weather station and outdoor
sensor during this time and do not push any button.
Select the transmission channel with the slider in the battery compartment of the outer
sensor.
When operating only a single outdoor sensor, always set the channel to 1. If several
outdoor sensors are operated (up to 3 are possible), set a different channel for each
outdoor sensor.
c) Setting Date, Time Zone, Language for the Weekday Display,
Display, 12h-/24h-Mode and Time
• To start setting mode, keep the button „TIME" pushed for about 2 seconds until the
time zone flashes in the display.
• Set the time zone with the buttons „UP" or „DOWN/DCF" in the range from -12 to +12
hours.
Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjustment.
If you do not push any button for a few seconds, the settings made until then are saved
and setting mode is left.
