• Close the lid (2) and switch on the device with the function switch (10).
The blender can only be switched on with the blending container (3) put on correctly. A safety
deactivation prevents operation without blending container (3).
Level „0"
The device is off.
Level „1"
Low speed for blending drinks, liquids and soft foods.
Level „2"
High speed for liquid and solid ingredients.
Level „P"
Pulse function (maximum speed) for chopping ice or hard food.
The function switch (10) will not latch in this mode.
Alternatively, you can also push the button PULSE (9) for the pulse function.
• Switch off the device after use (turn function switch (10) to „0") and pull the mains plug from the mains
socket.
• The blending container (3) can then be removed upwards from the motor housing (8).
• Empty the blending container (3) and clean it after use (see chapter „Cleaning").
Never leave blended material or liquids in the blending container (3) for an extended period.
Advice for operation
• Larger food should be cut into pieces of approx. 2-3 cm size before blending.
• Liquids should always be put in the blending container (3) first. Solid foods can be added slowly in smal-
ler amounts.
• For a better blending result, do not add too large quantities into the blending container (3) at once. Blend
smaller individual quantities and then combine them again after blending.
• If the blade speed drops strongly in operation, there is too much material in the blending container (3)
or the material to be blended is too hard. In this case, reduce the fill level or try to work with the pulse
function at first.
