Only use the device to prepare and chop food. Never process any other substances or materi-
als.
The device may cause injury if not used as described here.
Never turn on the device with the blending container (3) empty.
Never overfill the blending container (3). The maximum recommended fill level is 1.5 l. If the
blending container (3) is filled beyond this, the blending container (3) may flow over depending
on consistency of the ingredients.
When processing hot foods, there is the risk of scalds. Only food with a maximum temperature
of 60 °C must be processed; otherwise, there is a risk of the blending container (3) breaking.
When processing hot food, the blending container (3) must only be filled half at most and the
lid (2) must be firmly pushed onto the blending container (3).
Never reach into the blending container (3) while the mains plug is plugged in.
Never open the lid in operation. The blending container (3) and the lid (2) must not be removed
in operation. After operation, wait to open the lid (2) until the blade has stopped.
Never touch the blade when operating the device and do not insert any objects into the blen-
ding container (3), to avoid injuries/damage. When the device is out of operation and the motor
standing still, you may use a spoon or spatula to remove the blended material.
Never take the device into operation without the blending container (3). Ensure that the blen-
ding container (3) is always positioned correctly before activating the device.
Operate the device in regular operation (stage „1" and „2") for no more than 2 minutes without
interruption. Then let the device cool of for approx. 10 minutes to avoid overheating. In impulse
operation, the maximum uninterrupted operating duration is 30 seconds.
Disconnect the device from the mains before replacing accessories or additions.
• Clean the device before first commissioning as described in chapter „Cleaning" farther back in these
instructions.
• Put the blending container (3) on the motor unit (8). Observe that the circlip (4) is cleanly placed on the
housing edge of the motor unit (8). If the circlip (4) does not push the safety switch at the housing edge,
the device cannot be activated.
• Open the lid (2) and put the material to be blended into the blending container (3).
• To add spices or smaller amounts of material to be blended, you can also remove the closure cap (1) only
by turning it counter-clockwise and removing it.
Insert the closure cap (1) into the lid (2) again before operation, however, and turn it clockwise to
lock it.
