Installation
NOTE:
The refrigerator is heavy; you should ask the help of a second person for transporting and installing your appliance.
•
Do not tilt the refrigerator more than 45 degrees from upright when transportation.
•
Install the fridge in a flat and stable surface. Keep enough space on both sides, on the rear and on the top of the refrigerator to ensure
good ventilation.
•
Recommended space:
- On the top: minimum 30 cm
- On left and right side: 10 cm
- On the rear: 10 cm
•
Avoid installing the refrigerator near appliances which can produce vibrations, steam or high temperatures.
•
Do not expose the refrigerator to direct sunlight, water and humidity.
•
Let the refrigerator stand up upright for 8 hours before plug it and use it.
Operation
•
Check if the refrigerator is well installed.
•
Before put the refrigerator in operation, clean the shelves, crispers and the interior of the fridge compartment (see the chapter
cleaning). Make completely dry the element before reinstalling them in the appliance.
•
Reinstall the elements on the refrigerator.
•
Plug the appliance to a suitable electrical outlet
•
Use the thermostat to adjust the temperature.
- Setting 1: warmest
- Setting 7: coldest
- Recommended temperature setting: 4
•
When first use, turn the thermostat on the setting 3. Let the appliance operates empty during 3 hours.
•
After 3 hours you will able to use your refrigerator. Set the temperature to your desired position.
Filling the fridge
•
Do not put a lot a food in the fridge and in the freezer. If the refrigerator is overfilled, its performance will be reducing.
•
Organize the storage of food in a smart way.
•
Wrap the food or put the food in a covered recipient. Let some space between each food to let some ventilation.
•
Do not put warm food directly in the appliance. Let it completely cool before.
•
Open the door the less possible; take the needed food in one time.
•
Only use the freezer to freeze food. Do not put inside the freezer bottles, cans or similar products because they can explode and
create accidents and injuries.
•
Do not mix together fresh food and frozen food.
Making ice cubes
1. Fill the ice-cube tray with fresh drinking water. Do not overfill.
2. Dry the bottom of the ice-cube tray and place it inside the freezer compartment. This prevents the tray from freezing to the surface of
the freezer compartment.
3. Wait for 2 to 3 hours before take out the ice cubes.
Reversing the door orientation
The default left side orientation of the door can be changed to the right side. Use the following procedure to change the side of the door hinge.
NOTE:
The following tools are needed for changing the door: Slot screwdriver, cross screwdriver, spanner.
1. Set the thermostat to the 0 position and disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove the shelves (3), door shelves (2), crisper (4), plastic drawers (9), egg tray and ice tray from the unit.
3. Tilt the appliance backwards to an angle of 45° and securely support it.
4. Remove the two stoppers that cover the middle hinge holes on the left with a flat screwdriver.
5. Unscrew the two adjustable feet (11) on the bottom.
6. Unscrew the lower hinge (13).
7. Remove the freezer door (8).
8. Unscrew the middle hinge.
9. Remove the fridge door (1).
10. Unscrew the upper hinge (12).
11. Remove the stopper from the left upper hinge hole and screw the upper hinge (12) to the left side of the fridge.
12. Unscrew the grey hinge stopper from the fridge door (1) and place it on the other side of the door.
13. Check now if all the hinges and shafts are moved to the same side.
14. Attach the fridge door (1) to the upper hinge (12).
15. Attach the middle hinge to the fridge door (1) and screw the hinge onto the left side of the fridge.
