13. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
14. WARNING : Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure,
clear of obstruction.
15. WARNING : Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting
process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
16. WARNING : Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
17. WARNING : Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments
of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
18. The refrigerant (R600a) is flammable.
19. The refrigerant isobutene (R600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the appliance, a
natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless flammable.
During transportation and installation of the appliance, ensure that none of the components of
the refrigerant circuit becomes damaged.
20. Do not use the appliance near explosive or flammable vapours.
21. Do not store any explosive or flammable substances, like benzene, liquid gas or glue, in the
appliance.
22. If gas flows out of the appliance, do not pull the power plug from the outlet as this can cause
sparks and fire.
23. Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this
appliance.
24. Handle, service and dispose of the appliance according to local regulations, for it uses
flammable refrigerant.
25. Avoid damage to the cord. Do not squeeze, bend, or scour on sharp edges. Keep away from
hot surfaces and open flames.
26. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the
power plug with wet hands.
27. The plug must be easily accessible.
28. Always operate the appliance on a level, stable, clean and dry surface. Protect the appliance
against heat, dust and direct sunlight, moisture, dripping and splashing water
29. Do not place heavy articles on top of the appliance.
30. Do not place objects with open sources of fire, e.g. candles, on top or beside the appliance.
Do not place objects filled with water, e.g. vases on or near the appliance.
31. Do not use any heat sources, such as candles or heaters, to speed up defrosting. The resulting
steam can lead to short circuits and high heat can damage the plastic inner coating.
32. Do not use any spiky, sharp-edged or metal objects to remove ice build-up or a frozen-up ice
cube tray.
33. Do not store any cans or bottles containing liquids in the freezing compartment. Cans and
bottles may explode and damage the appliance and result in injury.
34. Do not place any heavy objects on the appliance.
35. The appliance must always be installed in a dry environment.
36. When installing, leave at least 10 cm clearance to the rear and to the left and right for adequate
ventilation. Leaving less room for ventilation can affect the appliance's efficiency.
37. Install the appliance in a place with good natural ventilation to increase ventilation properties.
38. In the event of fire, first pull the power plug out of the power outlet or disconnect the appliance
from the power supply before taking appropriate measures to fight the fire.
