5. As soon as the water boils the appliance switches off
automatically provided that you have thoroughly closed
the lid (4). Otherwise boiling water could spill. The indicator
light switches off as well.6. Lift the kettle (1) off the base
(8). The water is now ready for use.
You can stop the boiling process any time by pushing the
On/Off button (7) upward or by removing the kettle from the
base.
Water left over from a previous boiling cycle can be re-used
in the next boiling cycle. However, always make sure that the
water level is not too low.
Always unplug the appliance after use.
Dry-boil cut-out
Your kettle is equipped with a boil-dry cut-out, which will
switch off the kettle automatically, should it accidentally be
operated without water or by not observing the minimum
water level. In the event of such a safety cut-out, unplug the
appliance immediately and let it cool down for approx. 10
minutes. Afterwards, your kettle is ready for use again.
Cleaning and Care
Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and
disconnect it from the mains. Let it completely cool down.
Never immerse the appliance in water. Danger! Electric
Shock!
Clean the body of the appliance with a moistened soft cloth.
