• The direction of rotation is engraved in
the keyless chuck (15).
Procedure
1. Open the drill chuck: Turn the keyless
chuck (15) in the RELEASE direction.
2. Push the attachment tool as far as pos-
sible into the drill chuck opening (16).
Clamp the attachment tool: Turn the
keyless chuck (15) in the GRIP direc-
tion.

1. Open the drill chuck: Turn the keyless
chuck (15) in the RELEASE direction.
 CAUTION! Risk of burn injury!
2.
Attachment tools – especially drills –
can become very hot. Wear protective
gloves whenever appropriate.
Remove the attachment tool.

1. Unlock the SDS-Plus tool holder (1):
Pull the locking sleeve (3) backwards.
2. Remove the keyless chuck (15).
Checking the charge status
of the battery
1.
Press the button (8) next to the
charge level indicator (9) on
the battery (10).
The charge level of the battery is indic-
ated by illumination of the correspond-
ing LED lights.

2. Charge the battery (10) when only the
red LED on the level indicator (9) is illu-
minated.

Notes
• If warm, allow the battery to cool be-
fore charging.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sun-
light for long periods and do not place
it on a radiator (max. 50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Remove the battery (10) from the
device.
2. Push the battery (10) into the charging
slot of the battery charger (23).
3. Connect the battery charger (23) to a
power outlet.
4. After charging, disconnect the battery
charger (23) from the mains.
5. Pull the battery (10) out of the battery
charger (23).

Operation

Notes
• Use clamps or another practical
way to secure and support the
workpiece to a stable platform.
Holding the workpiece by your hand or
against the body leaves it unstable and
may lead to loss of control.
