The product is intended for domestic and commercial use such as; in staff kitchens; in
retail stores; in offices and other work environments; by customers in hotels, motels and
other residential environments; in bed & breakfast environments; on farms.

2.3 Use

Do not cover the product when it is on. Never place pillows or blankets on or against the
product. This may cause a fire hazard, electric shock, personal injury or damage to the

Parts of the product become hot. Do not clean the product while it is still hot. Wait until
the product has cooled down before cleaning it.

Do not use the product near a bathtub, shower, swimming pool, or near a (laundry) tub
filled with water. Do not touch the product or power cord with wet hands. Do not allow
the product to come into contact with water. Do not immerse the product in water. If
water does get into or on the product, turn the product off immediately and contact our
customer service department.

The product becomes hot when it is on. Do not touch the hot surfaces. Do not use the
product if you are sensitive to heat. Do not touch the hot parts of the product. Use only
the handle or knob.
•
Always place the product on a level, stable and non-flammable surface.
•
Hot steam comes out of the product when the water is boiling or has just boiled. Avoid
any contact with this hot steam.

Do not move the product when it is in use.
•
Do not insert objects into the openings of the product.
•
Use only the handle to move the kettle. Do not touch the hot parts.
•
Make sure the water in the product is always between the minimum and maximum
indication (0.5 to 1.7 L). If there is more water in it, the product will boil over and hot
water will come over the edge.
