Operating instructions Gerbing temperature
controllers
JUNIOR CONTROLLER
This temperature controller can be used with the following products:
•
12 Volt gloves without push button
•
Socks
These operations can only be carried out after correctly connecting a Gerbing
battery connection cable (see battery connection cable manual) or a 12V-DC
plug.
1. Connect the short single cable directly to the battery cable or 12V-DC plug.
2. Connect the two long cables directly to the plugs of the socks or Gerbing
12 Volt gloves without push button.
3. If using the vehicle battery: put the vehicle on ignition or start the vehicle.
4. The light blinks red, green, blue, orange successively and then off.
5. Turn on the junior controller by pressing the round button until the light
turns blue.
6. Then press the round button until the light turns green.
7. To reach the highest positions (orange and red), unlock the junior controller*.
8. To switch off the Junior Controller, press the round button until the light
turns off.
*Unlock the highest positions orange and red (once).

To switch on the Junior Controller, press the round button until the light is blue.
•
Then press the round button until the light is green.
•
Press the green light for about 10 seconds until the light turns orange.
You can then immediately unlock the hottest setting (red) by pressing and
holding the orange light for 10 seconds as well. The button then lights up red.
•
Press the round button until the Junior Controller switches off.
Now activation is complete.

Now all four modes can be used, with the following capacity:
Blue:
25%
Green:
50%
Orange:
75%
Red:
100%
