8. Always test the made connection for gas leaks in a well-ventilated area, free from
open burns or other ignition sources. Open the gas valve one to two turns and check all
connections for leaks with a gas leak finder or soapy water. In doing so, check the gas
cylinder valve, gas pressure regulator, hose connection and the product gas valve.
·
If air bubbles appear, the installation is not gas-tight. Do not use the product if the
installation is not gas-tight! Contact a licensed installer for inspection or assistance.
9. If the installation shows no signs of leakage, the product can be put into operation. Reinstall
the protective cap of the gas cylinder at the back. Be careful not to pinch the gas hose
when installing the protective cap. If necessary, you can turn the gas cylinder slightly.
Safety features
This product is equipped with several safety features to ensure safety:
·
Thermal protection: If the pilot light goes out, the gas supply is automatically shut off.
·
Oxygen deficiency protection: The product continuously measures the oxygen ratio in
the air around the product. When the oxygen content becomes too low, the product will
automatically shut off. This prevents carbon monoxide poisoning.
·
Tip-over protection: Should the product fall over, a special mechanism immediately cuts off
the gas supply to prevent the product from continuing to burn while falling to the ground.
·
Touch protection: Specially designed grates ensure that you can never come into direct
contact with the (burning) hot parts of the product.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Always make sure that the gas valve of the gas cylinder is completely closed and the
product has cooled down before cleaning the product.
·
Never clean the product when it is on, this can cause serious injuries!
·
The product should be checked regularly (annually) by an installer or specialist for safety.

regulators. Thoroughly dry the product before using it again.
·
Check the pilot light regularly during use. It should burn an even blue color. If the pilot

Check that the gas hose is in good condition. If it is cut, damaged or worn out, replace it
with a new suitable gas hose.
