Your EuroCave wine cabinet is a tried and tested appliance.
Maintenance procedures approximately once a
year
•
Unplug and unload the appliance.
•
Remove any particles that could block the drain pipe located inside the cabinet, on
the ledge at the bottom.
•
Clean the inside of the compartments with water and a gentle cleaning product.
•
Rinse thoroughly. Dry with the EuroCave microfibre cloth provided.
•
Glass sections must be polished with the EuroCave non-abrasive microfibre cloth
provided, after first cleaning with a glass cleaning product.
•
Replace the active charcoal filter housed in its hatch under the control panel (see chapter
6, VI). Remove the charcoal filter manually. It is available from your usual retailer. It must
be replaced by a manufacturer' s part.
•
Check that the door seal is in good condition. It is often necessary to clean the seal.
Cleaning with unsuitable products can cause premature wear of the seal. You should
therefore observe certain rules: Whenever the seal is cleaned, it must be rinsed with
clean water. no traces of cleaning product must be left on the seal. EuroCave
recommends that you only use a mild soapy solution. If cleaning with this type of
solution proves insufficient, it is possible to occasionally use an an ethanol-based

To remove words written with the white marker pen on our bottle identification
labels, use a damp cloth.

Use a damp cloth to clean the fronts of the shelves.

Use the EuroCave microfibre cloth to clean glass or plastic sections of your cabinet.
•
Clean the humidity control tray every 1 - 2 years depending on the quality of the
water used. Take the tray out of its slot. Unscrew the upper panel and clean the
different elements with soapy water. Rinse thoroughly, screw the upper panel back
on and fill the tray (see chapter 4). Put the tray back into the slot provided in the
cabinet.

Never use a spatula or any other metal tool which could damage the surface of the
metal strip and make it coarserClean the two metal strips used as an electrical
contact for the shelf lighting, using a cloth soaked in methylated spirit, as well as the
shelf's two electrical contacts. On each shelf.
•
If dust has settled on the ventilation openings on the back of the wine cabinet, simply
remove it with a vacuum cleaner.
Corrective action
Check that the door is closed.
Check the condition of the door seal.
If you have loaded your cabinet with a large amount of bottles in the
past few hours, wait a while then check again.
