10 Operation
10.1 Power supply
With batteries
1. Remove the battery compartment cover on the base of the product.
2. Insert two AA batteries (included). Ensure the batteries are inserted with the
correct polarity. The positive and negative terminals are marked on the batteries
and on the inside of the battery compartment cover.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Note:
– Replace the batteries when "LO" appears on the display.
With external DC power supply
1. Connect a suitable DC power supply (5 V/DC, 0.5 A) to the DC socket (6).
Observe the plug polarity requirements as indicated in the technical data.
Note:
– If batteries are inserted, the product will only be operated via the external
DC power supply until it is disconnected.
