3. If the temperature of the storage area of the thermometer
differs a lot from that of the measuring area, please wait 30
minutes before measuring.
4. Please open the battery cover and remove the
insulating piece for the batteries when you use the
thermometer for the first time. The thermometer
turns on automatically and will give a beep signal.
Caution:
In waiting mode, the LCD circularly displays the time
and the current room temperature.

how to measure forehead temperature
1. Put on forehead cap before use. Place the
thermometer in your hand as shown with your
thumb on the [Forehead Measuring] button.
• Do not press the button yet.
• Make sure the probe is clean before measuring.
• If the measurement on the forehead is done
without the forehead cap, the measurement
will be incorrect.
2. Place the thermometer gently on the forehead
so that the forehead cap is centered between
the eyebrows and the hairline. The forehead
cap should touch the skin. Press the [Forehead
Measuring] button to start the measurement.
3. Keep the thermometer flat against the forehead
until you hear the temperature broadcast or the
sound signal. The measurement is complete and
the thermometer may be removed from the head.
4. Read the temperature on the display.

forehead temperature.
