2. Master- or user code

2.1 Changing the master and user code

Make sure that the safe door is open when you change the code. Key in a seven digit code (or factory code
1234567 if you use the lock for the first time).
Step
1.
Press and hold the '0' button until the red light stays on
2.
Key in the code (or factory code 1234567 for the first time)
3.
Enter a new code, for example 5678913
4.
Repeat the new code, for example 5678913
(the red light goes out)
If the new code is not accepted, a long sound will be made. In that case, repeat the process from step 1. After
changing the code, it is a good idea to test it by entering it several times with the door open.

2.2 Programming user codes

A maximum of nine users can be created. Each user receives an ID number. Users can only be created with a
master code.
Step
1.
Press and hold the '1' button until the red light stays on
2.
Key in the master code, for example 5678913
3.
Key in the ID code, for example user 1
4.
Enter the new user code, for example 1111111
5.
Repeat the new user code, for example 1111111
(the red light goes out)
If the new code is not accepted, a long sound will be made. In that case, repeat the process from step 1.
After changing the code, it is a good idea to test it by entering it several times with the door open.
Please note, the code must be different from any of the other codes in at least two places or it will not be
accepted.
