Power supply
•
Before connecting the device to your power supply, please en-
sure that the supply voltage stated on the rating plate is com-
patible with your mains supply.
•
If unusual noises or smells are noticed or if the device shows
other atypical behavior, stop using it and immediately dis-
connect the power supply to prevent fire or accidents.
•
Only connect the mains plug to the wall socket when the device
is switched off.
•
Switch the device off prior to disconneting the power.
•
Never carry, pull or turn the device by the electricity cable and
do not squeeze the cable.
•
Position the mains cable so as to avoid the danger of falling
and that the risk of strangulation is completely excluded.
•
Do not touch the mains plug when you are standing in water
and always take hold of the plug with dry hands.
•
If the mains cable of this device is damaged, it needs to be
replaced by a special mains cable, which is available from the
manufacturer or its customer service.
•
Do not use the device if it or the power supply cable is da-
maged, if it does not work properly or if it has been dropped or
fallen into water.
•
Keep the device and its power cable away from hot surfaces.
•
If the power supply cable is damaged, it may only be replaced
by MEDISANA, an authorised dealer or by qualified personnel.
In order to prevent hazards, always send the unit in to the ser-
vice centre.
For special people
•
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the ap-
pliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
•
Children shall not play with the appliance.
