9.4.2 Adjusting the door(s)
During installation or maintenance, check that the door(s) close(s). If necessary, adjust the door(s).
This is the case, if the seal is insufficient (cracks).

Check the seal of the door by placing a sheet of paper between the door and the fire. After closing the door, it
should not be easy to pull out the sheet of paper. Check the door all around and repeat these steps if there is a
second door.
When adjusting the door(s), please proceed as follows:

On the left side of the appliance you will find a strip with an adjustable catch. Loosen the 2 bolts on the left of the
appliance by a few turns (see appendix 2, fig. 8).
Do not fully remove these bolts!

Adjust the strip to achieve a proper door seal.
Ø
Re-tighten the 2 bolts.
Ø
Check that the door seal is now sealing properly, using the test with the sheet of paper described above.
Ø
Repeat the above-mentioned steps until the door seals properly, also in case of a possible second door.
9.5 Glass pane(s)
9.5.1 Assembly/disassembly of glass pane in door(s)
For removing and then re-assembling the glass pane you must observe the following instructions (see appendix 2,
fig. 7).
Disassembly of glass pane in door(s):
Ø
Open the door.
Ø
Lift out the door by sliding it upwards.
Ø
Place the door on a flat surface.
Ø
Unscrew the screws.
Ø
Remove the frame sections.
Ø
Lift the glass pane out. The pane seal is also taken out.
Also check if the door seal must be replaced (see section 9.4.1).
!Tip
Assembly of glass pane in door(s):
Ø
Assemble the glass pane with the new glass pane seal and place the door(s) back by performing the steps
described for disassembling the glass pane in reverse order.
Use the supplied glass pane cleaner to remove fingerprints from the glass pane(s).
!Caution
Fold the glass pane seal over the top end of the glass.

The Oval Tunnel panes are made of IR glass. This glass consists of a coating that reflects a large part of the infra red
!Caution
radiation (heat radiation). This glass is characterized by a rough and smooth side (coating). It is very important that
the panes are mounted with the coated side towards the outside.
Mark the coated side of the panes before disassembling the pane. This will help you to place back the panes

9.6 Wall and bottom lining
Front appliance:
The plates are located on the bottom and against the back and side walls of the appliance (see appendix 2, fig.
11). When replacing the plates, these will have to be taken out.
The bottom plate must be removed first, then the side wall plates and finally the rear plates.
Placing the plates takes place in reverse order.
Ensure that the plates are placed back in their original positions! The rear plate, for instance, must be placed with

the small, not countersunk, holes towards the front. The rounded, top side of the side plates should be on the side
of the door.
Tunnel appliance:
The plates are located on the bottom and against the side walls of the appliance. In case of replacement, these will
have to be taken out. The bottom plate must be removed first, followed by the side wall plates.
Placing the plates takes place in reverse order.
