9.2.4 Air slide

When installing and maintaining the appliance, check the operation of the air slide (see appendix 2, fig. 6). It is
possible that blasting grit ended up in the air slide during transportation. If the air slide does not run smoothly, it
has to be cleaned. For this, the air slide should be disassembled.
When disassembling the air slide, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 6):

Remove the flame baffle plates (see section 9.3.1).
Ø
Unscrew the Allen screw.
Ø
Remove the air slide by bringing it towards you.
Ø
Check the air slide and clean it if necessary.
For placing back the air slide, the actions described for disassembling should be performed in reverse order.

9.3 Interior lining

9.3.1 Plates interior lining

The interior lining plates are located at the bottom and against the back and side walls of the fire. In the following
situations these plates must be taken out:
The bottom plates are removed first and the side plates are removed last. Placing the plates takes place in reverse
order.
Make sure that the plates are placed back in the original position! The back plate should be placed with the small,

not recessed, holes visibly at the front.

9.3.2 Flame baffle plate

At delivery, the flame baffle plate (see appendix 2, fig. 7) is located in the top section of the appliance. The flame
baffle plate must be removed in a number of situations:
For removing the flame baffle plate, proceed as follows:
Ø
Lift the left side of the flame baffle plate until it gets above the edge and slide the flame baffle plate to the right.
Ø
Lower the left side of the flame baffle plate and slide the flame baffle plate to the left.
Ø
Slide the right-hand side of the flame baffle plate over the edge.
Ø
Slide the flame baffle plate to the left and lower it until it reaches the lower section of the appliance.
Ø
Now you can remove the flame baffle plate.
Placing the flame baffle plate takes place in reverse order.
The stainless steel profile must be placed at the front with the screw heads facing the top (see appendix 2, fig. 8).

When disassembling the air slide valve (see chapter 9.2.4).
To be able to reach the adjustable legs (see section 9.7).
When replacing the wall and bottom lining plates.
when mounting and checking the flue gas exhaust connection;
when performing maintenance at the flue duct;
when replacing the flame baffle plate.
