10 Charging the device
The dosimeter has a built-in LiPo battery, so you never need to replace the
battery.
If the battery icon is flashing, it indicates that the battery is empty, so use the
USB cable supplied to recharge the battery (recommended adapter: 5 V / 1 A).
11 Operation
11.1 Switching the device on/off
To switch the device on or off, press and hold the „Power and menu button" (d)
for approximately 2 seconds.
One minute after switching the device on, if no operations are performed, the
LCD backlight will switch off automatically.
Press any button to switch the LCD backlight back on again.
Note:
When the device is switched off, the data is saved.
11.2 Switching units between µSv/h and µR/h
Press the „Unit" (c), to switch between μSv/h and μR/h . The current measure-
ment value, cumulative value and maximum value are displayed on the LCD.
Note:
The formula used for converting the units is:
1μSv/h = 100μR/h
