Always keep the battery out of the reach of children. Children could accidentally
short circuit the battery, which could cause a fire or an explosion. Danger of
death!
Dispose of the rechargeable battery properly and replace it with a new one if it
is deformed (inflated) after prolonged non-use.
Never damage the battery. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable battery
might cause an explosion or a fire! Unlike conventional batteries/rechargeable
batteries (e.g. AA or AAA type), the casing of the LiPo rechargeable battery only
consists of sensitive plastic film, rather than a thin sheet of metal.
When charging the battery, use the dosimeter only with the USB cable sup-
plied and a dedicated USB power supply unit or a USB port on your personal
computer.
Never leave the dosimeter unattended while it is charging.
The battery and the USB power supply unit used will get warm during charging.
Never cover them during the charging process.
Never expose the battery and charger to extremely high/low temperatures, di-
rect sunlight or wet/humid conditions.
When charging is complete, disconnect the USB charging cable from the do-
simeter.
When handling the rechargeable battery, do not wear any metal or conductive
objects, such as jewellery (necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc.). A short circuit may
cause a fire or explosion.
Never charge the battery immediately after the product has been moved from
a cold to a warm room. This may generate condensation, which can cause the
product to malfunction or damage the interior components! Allow the dosimeter
to reach room temperature before charging the battery.
