9.4 Door
Check the closing of the door during installation or maintenance.
To do this proceed as follows:
Ø
Check the sealing of the door by placing a sheet of paper between the door and the fire. After closing the door, it
should not be possible to pull out the sheet of paper easily. Check the outside of the fire.
In case the door still doesn't seal properly:
Ø
Replace the door seal (see section 9.4.1)
9.4.1 Replacing door seal
Proceed as follows when replacing the door seal:
Ø
Remove the door seal by taking it out of the integrated groove.
Ø
Remove excess kit residues from the door seal groove.
Ø
Use a heat-resistant kit to apply a new layer of kit in the groove.
Ø
Place the new door seal.
9.5 Glass pane
9.5.1 (Dis)assembly of the glass pane

Avoid damage when removing/fitting the glass pane.
!Caution
•
Avoid/remove fingerprints on the glass pane(s) as they will burn into the glass.
Use the supplied glass pane cleaner to remove fingerprints from the glass pane(s).
!Tip
To remove the glass pane and then remount it in the door, please follow the instructions below
(see Appendix 2, fig. 8).
Disassembly of glass pane in door:
Ø
Open the door.
Ø
Lift out the door by sliding it upwards.
Ø
Place the door on a flat surface.
Ø
Unscrew the 4 bolts that hold the clamps.
Ø
Lift out the glass pane. The pane seal is also taken out.
Assembly of glass pane in door:
Ø
Mount the glass pane and place back the door by performing the steps for disassembling the glass pane in
reverse order.

Do not fasten the bolts too tight to avoid breaking off and/or stripping: overtightening will cause breakage.
!Caution
•
Place the glass pane (including new pane seal) with the logo to the bottom right.
