In this way, the Lithium battery provides electrical energy to power the platform. This 100% electric mode
reduces the noise emission and pollution. The platform may also work with feed cable connected to the
network. In this situation the platform works and at the same time the battery charges.
4. BLUE HYBRID: OPERATION WITH PETROL ENGINE and ELECTRIC MOTOR POWERED BY LITHIUM PACK
The Bluelift Management System oversees operation of entire system, determining which power source
should be running. By radio remote control (option) it is possible active the AUTO Mode. During the work,
the system could automatically decide which power source uses, petrol or lithium, in order to reduce the
consumption of petrol and pollution as much as possible. Ex. during the lowering movement or when the
operator uses smoothly the controls, the system automatically selects the lithium electric power; instead
during the lifting movements or quick movements (when higher pressures are required), the system prefers
the petrol engine.
When the BLUEHYBRID function is active, all controls for lifting the booms or telescoping out the upper
boom are powered by the petrol engine. If the petrol engine is switched off, the Bluelift Management
System actives it every time that the previous functions are required from the operator.
After 10 sec that any function is active, the Bluelift Management System stop the engine and start the
electric motor and Lithium pack. From now on, if the operator actives a lowering movement or the rotation
of the turret, the lithium pack actives the electric pump.
The procedure for activating/deactivating this function is:
